On the Occasion of the Start of the 2026–2027 Pre-Season Preparation

With the commencement of the pre-season preparation period, the Cyprus Football Coaches Association extends its best wishes to all clubs, academies, players, coaches, goalkeeper coaches, fitness coaches, club officials, and everyone involved in Cypriot football for a productive, successful, and above all, healthy football season.

Our Association will continue to stand alongside all football professionals — coaches, goalkeeper coaches, and fitness coaches — supporting every initiative that promotes education, professional development, and the continuous improvement of Cypriot football. Our goal remains to safeguard the quality of coaching and protect the coaching profession for the benefit of all athletes, especially young players, who represent the future of our sport.

On this occasion, we encourage all clubs and academies to carefully study the regulations, competition rules, and official circulars issued by the Cyprus Football Association, ensuring their correct implementation throughout the season. Timely awareness and full compliance with these regulations contribute to the smooth operation of competitions and help prevent issues or omissions that may affect clubs and players.

Particular attention should also be given to the selection of individuals working daily with young players in football academies. The Association reminds all clubs that every coach responsible for the training and development of football players must hold the appropriate coaching licence, in accordance with the applicable regulations.

The Cyprus Football Coaches Association will continue to support every coach, goalkeeper coach, and fitness coach by providing guidance, information, and assistance on matters relating to the coaching profession and the proper implementation of the regulations.

We wish everyone a season filled with good health, success, fair play, and continuous progress.
